  • Finally, an iron does all of the work!

    by Amy – 16th Aug 2013

Pros: 1. The heavier weight allows me to iron without added pressure. 2. With the automatic stand I barely have to lift iron over to the fabric. 3. The flatter surface leaves no imprints. 4. The steam stays under the iron - no seeping from the sides. 5. Hot, hot, hot. 6. It is not difficult to learn to keep the iron horizontal. 7. The automatic stand feature can be disabled. 8. Much better than my last Rowenta.

Cons: Emptying the water could be a little easier. I try to spray out as much as I can.

  • Love, Love this Iron

Love, Love this Iron, only had it for a short time but it is wonderful. I would buy it again.

Only used for ironing shirts so far. Wonderful result. I have great deal of trouble remembering not to set the iron on its heel. I'll learn. Weight of iron is right. I do all my own laundry and ironing as well as some garment construction and quilting. So far so good.

I love my new Oliso iron, Ihad been limping along with my old one, so I am very happy to have hot heat and steam again. I love this brand.
The sale price was excellent and loved the fact that I got free shipping as well. I can always count on Sew And Vac for a good product.

This is my second Oliso TG1600 iron. I now have one upstairs for ironing clothes and one in my craft room for quilting.
They are heavy, which I like, I don't have to push the iron down to get a good press. And I really love the fact I don't have to set the iron up I can just press and slide it to the side. If I had a need for a third I would have it.

  • a big disappointment

    by debbie – 19th Jan 2012

I've had this iron for 4 months, very disappointed. It does not get near as hot as a Rowenta. The steam vents don't work well. Going back to a Rowenta!
