I got the Singer 14SH654 Finishing Touch Serger because the price was great and I already have a factory Serger and wanted one that was small enough to travel .I am using this Singer machine at home to teaching my Grandchildren to sew for them self. One is seven and one is ten.... I am getting close to fifty. We all can use it and enjoy it . I also am using the Singer Simple to teach them on ,Because there is no knobs on the front to be turning.
I have used Singer for most of my sewing life They have always been there for me and I am a heavy sewer. I sew for the public for a living and keep Singer machine both at home and work.
I really want to buy the Singer Quantum Stylist 9960 Next to do all my personal sewing on and I could take jobs I need to finish home with me at the end of the day and finish them with out being at work all the time.

I really do like the singer 14sh654 overlock machine . it's real easy to use however. what I don't like about it ,I can't thread the lower looper it's hard to do, you have to turn it far right, and pray that the thread goes in the opening, What where the people over at singer thinking of when they made this machine?
that's my input what's your's
